A Lifetime of Making it Better

The clerk asked the kid why he’d taken apart a 100 year old toy, one she’d had in her antique shop for years. He said because it didn’t work. She said of course it didn’t: it was a valuable antique! So he closed the cover and showed her: now it works.

Raised on a farm, I learned you make things better using what you have at hand. With the right tools, that skill grew to a passion. Your home should work, too. I have the drive, ability and value system to help with that.

I love finding things that are of value, and making them better. Broken? Let’s get it fixed. Dangerous? Let’s make it safe. Leaking, wiggly or loose? Let’s get it solid. Fragile? Let’s protect it. Of value? Let’s restore it. Just plain done? Let’s make it like new.

After successful decades in a caring profession with vulnerable people, I combine skill with hard work and honesty to offer the same level of care to the jobs you need done, to help your house be the home it can be.
